Guidelines of the Hobo Museum

A set of rules have been established for the Hobo Museum in Britt, Iowa.  These
rules were set by the Hobo Museum Curator, Linda Hughes and the Iowa State Hobo
Studio Professor Bridget Belkacemi.

1. All items must be given to the museum curator. To be checked in to the Hobo
Collection.

2. Any item not checked in with the curator will be returned or discarded.

3. NO items can be left at the museum without permission. The Hobo Museum is not a
storage space for anyone belongings.

4. NO staples or pins of any kind.

5. NO fun tack.

6. NO tape of any kind.

7. NO picture frames, this makes all pictures on a level playing field.

8. A picture must be significant to a hobo or hobo convention.

9. EVERY artifact must be significant to a HOBO.

10. NO items on loan. All artifacts must be donated.

Just a short note to all - the Hobo Museum is going through a very important
transition. The museum will focus on educating all about the history of the hobo.
The displays are all different than they have been before. But it is for the better of
the museum. Photos will now be in the hobo library that Bridget is working on. This
process will take more than a few weeks, so everyone should be patient as Bridget
continues to work .

The price to tour the museum will be $2 this year, but will increase next year.
